We entered the reception, and paid. The lady behind the counter gave us lovely (*cough cough*) green band to prove we had paid. Then we rushed through, and were greeted by the sight of a large cow. I gave it a piece of food we were given, and it tried to steal the whole bag! After stroking their vast heads (the head was the size of a toddler. No joke,) we wandered through to see the goats, lambs, horses, pigs and donkeys. We fed them, stroked them, and a goat tried to steal the bag! One goat got stuck in the bars trying to reach some food. There were the cutest baby lambs ever! There were Shetland Ponies (one of them seemed to love me) and miniature donkeys. They were not very miniature! Next stop: hatchery. There were hundreds of chickens, and through a door, there were all of the newborn chicks in little incubators. Just along the corridors, there was the biggest pig I ever saw. But, the best part of the massive pig... there were piglets suckling the milk! A door led to the Small Animal House. There were Chipmunks, Degus, Chinchilla's, Fish and MASSIVE Tortoise. After having lunch in the indoor play area, we were set loose. My friend Ellie and I set off, and discovered these hoover-gun-thingys that suck the sponge balls and shoot them into a net. The point is, you have to aim for the net (duh) but it was the easiest thing I ever did. A herd of toddlers came stampeding round us, and when they were setting off to go home, most of them cried for us. We went on the tractor ride, which was disappointing, because since it was spitting, we went up the driveway and back. Not impressed. When we got back, we fed the baby lambs... they are pretty strong! After going to the gift shop (I got a bracelet, my brothers got Lego [snore] They both got the same) The figures are quite funny though
Quite frankly, I smell of animal poo. When I have taken the dog, the shower is beckoning me!
Ah well. Au-revoir! xxx
Wow that sounds like a fun day, nice bracelet!
