Where I live, it's been quite cold and rainy, with the occasional ten minutes of snow, so I have spent the last week or so, dreaming about a lad called Corey (I'll explain), reading the entire Harry Potter series (again), watching 17 Again over and over, and clearing out my wardrobe. I'm going shopping with my Auntie Lol (Lauren) next Saturday for some new clothes for my birthday, so I'm planning what I want and need, (TROUSERS AND BOOTS!!!!!) My brothers' friends are coming round on Friday, so I'm going to be hibernating then. Charlie and James are twins. Charlie is homeschooled too, and is okay, but I would love to punch James in the head. I've been a bit relaxed with my blog posts, because I have realised that I felt like blogging was a duty, but it's really something that I enjoy. Oh yeah, Corey was a year 9 at my old secondary school. We were in Doctor Who club together, and he piggy-backed me everywhere, and was like a big brother to me. So I don't fancy him, I just miss him :)
Today my hair looks like Hermione Grainger lent me a wig. And my outfit looks... bohemian.

I just tried to find the camera wire, 'cause I did take pictures, but my brothers can't be trusted with anything,... they broke the webcam too. GRRR!!!!!!!!! I'm getting a new phone for Christmas, where I can post stuff to blogger... don't worry!
How many times have you read Harry Potter? I read each book 5 times through over grade 4 and 5 (ages 9 to 10). But I have read all my favourite parts COUNTLESS times. They are probably the best series ever! In fact, I had dreams from all the different characters' perspectives; and in grade 6 I had a crush on Ron Weasly. I nearly cried at age 11 when my letter to Hogwarts didn't turn up...
ReplyDeleteI've already been summer clothes shopping. I LOVE the rain of summer, but the heat bothers me - I can't dress in jeans, boots, skivvies, cardigans and hats (I like to cover as much skin as possible). Then again, 9 (!!!) weeks off school (homework, assignemnts, etc.) sounds pretty appealing! Bye.
Wait, it's your SUMMER? IT'S JUST STARTING WINTER OVER HERE!
ReplyDeleteYep. SUMMER! Because of the whole southern hemisphere thing our seasons are opposite. Of course, our winter is probably just a little colder than your summer. Anyway, that's why we also get our long holidays at the same time as Christmas. We then get 1 week at Easter between term 1 and 2, and 3 weeks holiday in between term 2 and 3 and 2 weeks off in the middle of term 3 and 4. Of course, state/public schools are different to private schools. It's a sort of running joke between parents, but the more you pay for education the longer the students' time off!
